Hear ye, hear ye!13 May 3307

For three years I have gazed longingly into the greatest reaches of the universe, at a speck of light far off into the unknown, with the memory of a promise made long ago. I stand here, today, in this place, at the conclusion of a journey made in honor of that memory, and in fulfillment of that promise.

To my companion who anchored me in place among the vast and unyielding torrents of time and space, I dedicate this achievement; to you, without whom I would have been truly lost long ago.

Though your own journey was cut brief by the cruelty of fate, your life burned with the brightness of a thousand timeless suns. You cast light where there was darkness and breathed joy into the essence of life itself.

You are not here, and yet I look upon these stars and see you. I have saved this place for you, and so it shall be yours.

HERE NOW, LET IT BE KNOWN BY ALL THAT FOR THIS DAY, AND THE NEXT, AND FOR ALL DAYS, THIS PLACE IS TOBY'S REST.

It shall be a place of safety, and a place of peace. A reminder of past journeys, and a protector of future travels. A monument to achievement through doubt, and a testament to the promise of a promise. A place of purpose found.
